About Harsiddhi Temple
Harsiddhi Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, sacred shrines dedicated to Goddess Shakti. Located in Ujjain, this temple is especially significant during Navratri when thousands of devotees gather for special ceremonies.
The temple houses the famous "Deep Stambh" (light pillar) which creates a mesmerizing display during evening Aarti. The temple's architecture and rituals reflect the rich traditions of Shakti worship in India.
During Navratri, the temple transforms into a center of spiritual activity with special pujas, cultural programs, and increased devotional activities.
Visiting After Mahakal Darshan
Harsiddhi Temple is located very close to the Mahakaleshwar Temple precinct (less than 1 km away). Due to its proximity, it is highly recommended to combine both visits.
Pro Tip for Bhasma Aarti Attendees
If you are attending the early morning Mahakaleshwar Bhasma Aarti Darshan, you will typically exit the Mahakal temple around 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
After your Mahakaleshwar darshan, you can take a short 10-minute walk or a quick e-rickshaw ride directly to Harsiddhi Temple before returning to your hotel. This allows you to complete two major darshans before breakfast, avoiding the mid-day heat and crowds.
