§1 Definitions
Refers to UjjainTravel.com, its subdomains, mobile-friendly interfaces, and associated concierge dashboards.
Refers to the pilgrim, traveler, or representative accessing the Platform for information or service booking.
Includes Darshan coordination, Puja facilitation, Bhasma Aarti application assistance, and rituals performed by verified Pandits.
Includes tour packages, taxi rentals, hotel bookings, heritage walks, and concierge support.
§2 Scope of Services & Intermediary Role
UjjainTravel operates as an Intermediary Platform within the meaning of the Information Technology Act. We curation spiritual and travel experiences by aggregating services from verified independent third-party vendors, including but not limited to:
- Religious Facilitation: We connect pilgrims with hereditary Pandits who perform Vedic rituals according to Ujjain's traditional standards.
- Travel Logistics: We manage itinerary planning, transport, and local navigation to optimize the pilgrimage time.
Limitation Disclosure
UjjainTravel does not exercise direct control over temple administrations, govt protocols, or sudden shrine closures. Our role is strictly limited to facilitation, administrative assistance, and professional guidance based on official public data and local expertise.
§3 Booking Process & Formation of Contract
3.1 Offer and Acceptance
The listing of a tour or puja on the Platform constitutes an 'invitation to treat.' Your booking request on the checkout page constitutes an 'offer.' The contract is only formed when you receive a Booking Confirmation Email with a unique Transaction ID from UjjainTravel.
3.2 Documentation Accuracy
Users must provide accurate Gov-issued ID details (Aadhar, Passport, etc.) as required for Bhasma Aarti and hotel check-ins. Discrepancies between the provided data and physical ID at the temple may result in entry refusal without refund. The User assumes 100% liability for data entry errors.
§4 Payment, Taxes & Service Fees
Financial Clarity
4.1 Currencies: All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless explicitly stated. International users will be charged based on current exchange rates plus bank markup.
4.2 Gateway: We use Razorpay, an RBI-approved gateway. UjjainTravel never stores your CVV or Pin numbers.
4.3 Fee Breakdown: Our package prices consist of the base service cost (temple devasthan fees + partner fee) plus a professional "Concierge Management Fee" ranging from 15-25% depending on the complexity of the logistics.
§5 User Obligations & Code of Conduct
Ujjain is a sacred city (Mokshadayini). Every user engaging with our Platform or staff agrees to:
§6 Temple Protocols & Sacred Compliance
The Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and other shrines have strict internal protocols which supersedes any agreement with UjjainTravel.
- Photography: Not allowed inside the Garbh-Griha (Sanctum). Users violating this may face legal action from authorities.
- Queuing: High crowds may result in 4-6 hour wait times. UjjainTravel staff cannot bypass these lines unless official 'Fast Darshan' tickets are bought.
- Security Check: Be prepared for multiple biometric and physical security screenings by the police and temple guards.
§7 Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Framework
The unique nature of spiritual facilitation involving local vendors requires a tiered refund structure. For full details, see our Full Cancellation Policy.

§9 Warranty Disclaimer & Liability Cap
Statutory Notice
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
UjjainTravel's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to UjjainTravel specifically for the 'Management Fee' portion of the booking in question.
§10 Force Majeure (Acts of God)
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this contract if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, flood, fire, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, war, government mandate, temple site closure by police/administration, or power failure.
§11 Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any dispute arising out of this relationship will first be attempted to be resolved via Mandatory Conciliation between the User and our Management within 30 days of the incident. If unresolved, legal proceedings shall be initiated exclusively in the courts of Ujjain, MP, India.

§12 Miscellaneous Clauses
12.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12.2 Amendments: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
12.3 Waiver: No failure or delay by UjjainTravel in exercising any right shall operate as a waiver of that or any other right.
