Sarafa Bazaar is a jewelry market by day and a bustling food street by night. After 8:00 PM, jewelry shops close their shutters, and dozens of food stalls take over the narrow lanes. This is the only place in the world where you can see such a dramatic transformation. Whether it is the **Garadu** (deep-fried yam), the **Joshee's Dahi Vada**, or the legendary **Shikanji** (a thick milk-based drink), the energy of Sarafa is infectious and goes on until 2:00 AM.
Many pilgrims ask why they should stay in Indore when visiting Ujjain. The answer lies in the **Ujjain-Omkareshwar circuit**. Indore sits perfectly between the two Jyotirlingas. By staying in Indore, you get access to premium hotels, the best food in India, and a central starting point for day trips to Ujjain (1 hour), Omkareshwar (2.5 hours), and Mandu (2 hours).
